Final Motor Mount Installed + Battery Tray

Final laser-cut/powder coated mount installed. At this point, I was still having trouble getting the motor to work with the batteries I ordered.  It took about 2 weeks for me to realize what the issue was: solenoids- how do they work!? ;P

With the front pinion gear sliding on the motor shaft, chain line was easy to dial-in. ^______^

  1. I had issues with the sprocket walking on the motor shaft, this was remedied by adding additional holes and set screws around it. Just something to watchout for.

I hope disk brakes are the next thing on the list!

  2. I'm assuming you had the correct key stock installed between the sprocket and motor shaft? So far, I've had no trouble with the drivetrain. (fingers crossed?

Disk brakes are going to need to happen, yes. The braking power of the drum brakes just isn't as responsive as I'd like- which I also attribute to the weight of the vehicle. New batteries might help.
