Configuring component layout: Charger is mounted on top of the skate deck seat.

The overall aesthetic is super utilitarian, but I think there'll be enough interesting design details to keep it looking somewhat "designed". 

As seen above, the batteries/charging cable are easily accessible when the hatch is opened (plus it's going to look really cool when it opens- lol).
